Hatha yoga is a slow and meditative asana practice. This class builds heat, strength, and presence through a slow and more laid back approach to yoga postures. The breath is also incorporated as an anchor and opportunity for presence and expansion. This is an all-level class, no experience necessary.
Relax your body and Free your Mind. This class is for every BODY. Designed for all bodies, we will explore the subtle body and take it nice and slow as we journey deeper into the inner landscapes. We create gentle postures and utilize props and calm breathing. Each posture is explored deeply with modifications and alternatives to allow your body the freedom to release and relax.
Sometimes our bodies hold onto energy that is not beneficial for our overall health. Aches and pains seem to arise from nowhere. Restorative postures allow you to back away from the strain and the fire of life and instead find the most comfortable position for your body and rest.
We will use blocks, bolsters, pillows, blankets, and anything that allows your body to find relaxation. This is the perfect class for ALL bodies. Come as you are! You will be supported!
Vinyasa yoga is a more movement based asana practice. This class utilizes a movement and flow approach to build heat, strength, and presence. Breath to movement connection is also incorporated here as a practice of presence and vitality. All levels are welcome.
Yin yoga is an opportunity to slow way down and spend more time in each posture. This may help facilitate a deeper journey and more meditative experience. All levels are welcome.
Circling is in our DNA. It is how our ancestors came together to grieve, to heal, to celebrate, and to remain connected. So many of us today are longing for this fundamental human connection, for our tribe. For deeper levels of connection, more consistent community. CIRCLE is a unique weekly experience designed to respond to this longing. In this class, we will have the opportunity to connect to both ourselves and one another. Practices are simple yet profound: talking, moving, breathing, sounding, and touch (always optional). Built on a foundation of somatic therapy and emotional release techniques, you will organically learn nervous system regulation skills, embodied presence through movement, sound, and breath, and relational practices to allow you to witness, hold, and free yourself and others. No movement or therapy experience needed, just bring your curiosity & an open heart.
In this class we will utilize our breath to cultivate more presence, healing, and expansion in our lives. Breathwork is incredible for healing the physical body and is a highly therapeutic tool on many levels and layers. Some of the many benefits of breathwork include healing inflammation and injury in the body and increasing positive mood and vitality. Breathwork helps alleviate depression, fatigue and anxiety and leads to increased well-being and productivity. When breathwork is explored on a regular basis it will have long lasting and life changing effects. All levels welcome, no experience necessary.
This class combines breathwork and sound healing to create a powerful and healing container. The breathwork is not your typical pranayama. The breathwork is breathing in a way that carries us into a deeper inner journey. Each class is as powerful as a healing ceremony. This experience helps you to explore the inner workings of the mind, body, emotional body and energy body. This type of therapy can help to understand and heal traumas. This is a great option for emotional, energetic, and physical release. This breathwork will support a long and healthy life. All levels.
This class will begin with breathing techniques to get the body centered, followed by a guided meditation. From a gentle state of stillness, you will transition into receiving the vibratory medicine of the crystal bowls, leaving you in a blissful state of deep relaxation. This is a restful experience. Please bring your yoga mat, pillow, blanket, and whatever you need to feel most comfortable.
This class will utilize Yin Yoga and connection to cultivate healing. This class is a perfect opportunity to slow down and share the experience of yin and the experience of circling up to share in the experience of being human. All levels.
